Default 1983 Volvo 760GLE

I'm new to this but need some help. I've recently purshased a 83 760gle which sat up in a shed for the last 12 years. It has 66K original miles and was a pharmacists 2nd car. Cosmetically its a beautiful car and was well taken care of but from sitting so long its got some problems. The fuel pumps were both gummed up and had to be replaced as well as flushing the fuel tank and cleaning the injectors and now I seem to be having a problem energizing the engine control module/fuel pumps. I can jumper the fuel pump relay and get the pumps to run and the engine starts for about a second or two. The 164E I had ran the pump when the key switch was first turned on untill the pressure came up and stopped. This car is not going through that sequence which leads me to think the control module is not being powered up. I tried a Chiltons manual but it does not show the actual relay or module locations. Does anyone out there have any experience with this type of problem? Possibly a bad engine control module?

Default Exact engine?

Is this a B28 or a B280? Different injection systems. I may be wrong but I think the B280 is like the B230 and B234 with constant-run fuel pumps.

An 83 will be a B28. The B280 was - iirc - introduced a good bit later.
