Default v70 D5 identification

Hi
I am looking to buy a V70 diesel estate about 2003 or so and have seen a car for sale that looks ok but it is advertised as a manual D5 SE but doesn't have the D5 logo under the V70 on the rear door right hand, is this usual ?
I don't live close so haven't seen the car only some pics for now.
What other signs are there its a genuine SE ? Does the SE usually have headlight wipers ?

The Phase 1 v70's (diesel) used the Audi D5252T Engine this was carried forward to the Phase two V70's until 2002 when the Volvo D5 Engine (D5254T) came out in late 2002

it MAY BE that the car your looking at was one of the very Last D5252T Audi Engined models...... Some did stay in the dealers until early 2003.....

They usually have either NOTHING (badge Wise) on the back or "V70 2.5" ...

This one just has VOLVO on the left of the rear number plate and V70 on the right nothing else. All the other 2003 D5 models I have seen have D5 under the V70 badge. Is there a preference for the different engines ?

The owner sent me a scan of the logbook which says V70 D5 SE and 2401cc
The engine just says Volvo common rail diesel on top of the plastic cover over the engine.

It is excellent , you will have great power and economy that the current diesel D5 won't match :-)
