I have one with a virtually brand new Pirelli 6000 tyre on - £40 & I'm only down the road in Harrogate !
Let me know if any good - if you've buckled your alloy that bad, chances are the tyre sidewall is damaged as well. Cheers, John. |

Many thanks. I've just put in a bid for the Ebay one! Good point about the damage to the tyre, but I have a feeling the damage was done before the current tyre was put on. The tyre depot have inspected it and declared it sound. The vibration only showed up when I put the wheel on the front. Believe it or not, I reckon that wheel has spent pretty much most of the last 16 years on the back of the car! When I think back, when I bought the car back in 2004/5 from Harratts in Wakefield it had a bit of a vibration then, which they 'cured' by fitting a new tyre before I took delivery. I reckon that wheel was possibly buckled then, but it has been on the back of the car through successive tyre changes for the past 8 years and 210,000 miles! That one you have with a near new Pirelli is undoubtedly worth the money, but if I can get the Ebay for £20 that'd be great as really, I only need the wheel, not the tyre. If I don't get the Ebay one I'll get back to you. As you say, Harrogate is only up the road! Cheers Jack |

Darn it! Missed that £20 wheel by £1!
Should have been keeping a closer watch! Anyone got any offers? Jack |
