Dont see how it can work since dpf is part of exhaust not fuel system it catches soot then burns it off with en increase in exhaust temp

sorry to tell but it has all to do with it, as the DPF regeneration happens with fuel and additive in some cases, and in some other cases only with fuel I wanted to see if anybody use it and saw any difference.

But the additive elyos or whatever is injected into exhaust I know that.

Not sure how that additive can help other than causing a hotter combustion

Not you are wrong the elyos gets mixed in the tank
Not in the exhaust directly.
the mixture of additives and diesel are sent to the exhaust prior to combustion.

In your case if i am not wrong it is the same as the one with eolys the Engine management increase the exhaust temperature through late fuel injection or injection during the exhaust stroke the difference between the two system is the actual dpf the system how it works it is the same.
