Well that was a great day and thanks to Iain for organising it, just like a trip down memory lane for me Ian & Iain. Thanks to all you other guys for making the event a real success. It was a pleasure meeting up with you guys, restored my faith in really nice Volvo Owners if you get my drift.

Good to see you and everyone yesterday.

I am sorry I only just went back through this thread and saw you had asked for a code reader. I actually had my laptop plus connection cables to talk to V*DA with me yesterday and would have been pleased to connect up to your car.

Hope someone else there was ablt to assist you.

A cracking meet,i forgot how nice these meets were,a nice long drive there and meet some lovely people with cracking cars,It was really strange with me after 7 years of classic 70 series,i wasn't interested at all in them,even the 2 Blue P3 cars.
Looks like i am 40 series loyal now lol.

No worries Ian, the check engine light had extinguished when I turned the car on in the morning. Probably to make up for the fact that my air conditioning has gone (hopefully just lack of gas). So it's booked into a guy that IC recommended to get it sorted out. He's going to read the stored codes anyway and see if that gives any more clues.
