S40 2004-2007 Grill

Hi

I'm looking for a S40 2004-2007 grill, the "egg crate" style to put on my 2005 V50. Let me know if you are looking to get rid of one in good condition.

Have a look on the FK tuning website they do a plain black eggcrate grill (which I have ) and a black grill with a chrome surround, much cheaper than a new volvo grill, and to be honest cheaper than a second hand volvo eggcrate grill (if you can find one!!!), they are a great fit, and if you really want the Volvo slash/badge I'm sure you could remove it from you old grill and stick it to an FK tuning one

Thanks for the tip but couldn't find one with a chrome surround and black grills which is what I'm really after.

Found a website selling brand new genuine egg crate grill for £155.

Anyone know if that's a decent price?

If you need one quick then possibly it is, compared to main dealer prices. On the other hand if you're in no hurry then no it's not a decent price. It may take a couple of weeks and a bit of time sat at the computer but you can get one for a lot less than that by scouring ebay. As I've said before I picked up a brand new one off ebay for just £65 delivered, saving £90 on your website price.

It's up to you, do you have the cash kicking around or can you wait a few weeks and save some money??

There are other Volvo breakers online, have you tried them as well?

I'm happy to wait, I keep checking eBay for anything.

Can you recommend breakers websites? I've tried a few sites before where you submit a parts query and then neve get a reply. If you know any good breakers I'd appreciate the advice, have some other parts like a broken glove box to find too.
