The big mappers in the impreza world say they cannot tell much difference between the two, but hate BP fuel. Although that isn't 99RON anyway. They say other supermarket stuff is crap.
Likewise my Unmapped Impreza runs at its best on either Vpower or Momentum. Any 97ron fuel makes it run on the lumpy side & 95 even worse.

I also get another 40-80 Miles per tank when using 99RON.

On the volvo side (2001 C70 T5 GT) I can't really tell much difference but that's my wifes car & an Auto so it doesn't get revved highly or do many long runs.

Somewhere at home I've got RR printouts of my car running on Tesco 99 & the Impreza produces a very respectable 240bhp (215 is quoted as standard for UK Car) & 235Lb/ft which again is respecatble.

On the +side when I use Tesco 99 I get clubcard points & what do points make PRIZES - In our case 4xMerlin Annual passes for the last 4 years.

From that you can guess the Impreza does a lot of Miles.
