From a drivers point of view the headrests are for whiplash protection rather than for falling asleep on.................... Unless you've stopped for a zizzzz...

Of course they are!

That's why they have all the memory settings. In my E320 CDi, button 3 is the sleep setting for the seats, one push and you're in the land of nod.............

Default 240 option

In 4 doors and estates it's easy to fit 240 front seats. The GLT leather ones come in black or tan. Unfortunately 2-door versions would be very rare. I have managed to get some out of a 262 for one of mine.

Guys;

I agree adding fitting Headrests is the first course of action which should be considered (see: http://www.sw-em.com/headrest_upgrading_notes.htm )...for poster not satisfied with the level of support from these fine seats,

I'd suggest checking for (and renewing) "sheet pasta gone wrong" suspension straps, before replacing seats.

Cheers from Connecticut!

Default Seats & Headrests

Hi Ron - Many thanks for your valued input and yes I'm trying now to locate a pair of headrests that will do the job! The sw.em attachment again is good info that will be put to use, but I've got to get the bodywork sorted as a priority, and hopefully the seats will follow shortly thereafter.

Regards, Ric
