CAI (Cold Air Intake)

OK... so i've searched for CAI and no matches!!!! Does that mean no one has modded their XC90 with a CAI? I have a 2008 V8 sport. It clearly has the cold air bit, with the intake coming from just under the front bonet... but has anyone put a decent aftermarket cold air intake or modified airbox so you can actually here some induction!! that engine must sound awesome but it is barely audible. I would have thought the Americans would have modded their V8's but American volvo drivers seem just as conservative as the rest of the world.... what about the UK drivers huh? All I seem to read is threads about getting longer engine life and better MPG.... what about better 0 - 100km/hr or more bottom end torque?

volvo have specificaly tuned the exhaust to give the sound the americans like :-) As they did with the S60 and V70 R . You wont get any specific induction roar without hotter camshafts !

The exhaust has already been modified with different exhaust box/resonators which gives a very nice rumble on idle, but it's ver sedate at higher rpm's... Loose all the v8 sound by around 3000 rpm. I was after a nice induction sound at WOT. just put a Volant CAI on my grand Cherokee 5.7l v8, and it sounds awesome. I can only find AFE that do a CAI for xc90, but can't find anyone who's tried it.
