Get the weight over the axle and low down.
Make sure the water tanks are empty. Fit a stabiliser. Happy caravaning BTW I have just brought a abbey 620, twin axle, which should be fun. James

i picked up my caravan yesterday but have a few questions, it has a cascade water heater. how do i switch it onto gas its running on main power at the moment. in the handbook it shows it as having an oven but dosen't, so i have bought a belling gas oven, where do i take the gas feed from. do i put in a t point of the hob supply. and lastly i can't seem to get the fridge to start using gas, i have put it on main power to see if it works overnight. and one other point is the room heater isn't a blown heater just a carver convector heater is there ant way i can convert it into a blown system. as i said before its a 1993 avondale leda grampian caravan

Great
I also have brought a Avondale mayfair (dart556) Which we are picking up on the weekend, which will be nice. Since I got messed up with the B+E saga thanks Eu. ( thought the van I originally brought was ok) Just remeber its Max authorised mass that matters with B only 3500kg licence. V70 has too high a MAM at 2150kg so can only tow1350 kg. however a S60 can tow near to 1500kg as the MAM is only 2000kg. As can Passat and Audi A4. James
