Default DMF and CEM issues

Hi. I have a V50 2.0D SE 06 plate, 62k on the clock that seems to be having a lot of problems. Not long after purchase in late 2007 from the dealer the EGR failed, followed by the electrical connections in the pillars locking us in and the windows open. Since then there have been niggles - don't get a power washer near the paint as it comes off!. More recently we went through 6 months of hell trying all sorts of stuff to fix an electrical fault. Nothing major the dealer said, but later turned out to be the CEM failing. Now 4 weeks post service the DMF has failed so yet another hefty bill. My question is does anyone else have a catalogue of issues, or did I just by a lemon?

Thx

sadly DMF is a failing of many a modern diesel. timing could just be unfortunate.

as for the paint mine is fine and so is our other C30...either you have been using a dirt blaster on it which is most certainly to aggressive or it has a had a shoddy respray!

Paint coming off? Electrical problems? Looks like it could have been in an accident, it definitely had a respray, electrics could have got mangled in the crash...
