So...another day of cut fingers and burnt retinas.....I have now finished welding the nearside sill .....only the off side rear sill left to do......once i've donated welding it's gonna be grinding and filling time.....it never ends.....

Still, i'm well happy with the result so far....it's rock solid.

Regards,
Shane

Hi loving the progress and a fine job your doing. As for the long johns?
I have the same ones I also bought some skiwear as it's been reduced from £19.99 to £5.99, only the leggins/trousers.And thier ladies ones but as I will soon destroy them at work with concrete and dirt I aint to bothered at that price. And no they aren't pink but grey so pretty neutral in that respect.I had noticed the zipper is the other way round? What's that all about?
Regards Brian.

The start of work on the off side rear sill......less metal removed than on the other side....once this is done I have to get her mot'd before the 15th of the month......big groan.....more expense

Not gonna bother grinding the welds til after the mot.....at the moment the car loss like ****e....but i'm sure it will be worth it.

Regards,
Shane

Some seriously good welding there - better than mine and I have been 'practising' for years!

Get that trailiing arm cleaned up soon though, before it rusts away. here is a picture of mine being de-rusted by electricity.

Negative to the item, positive to some scrap lead (or steel) and the whole in a bath of water and soda crystals. I had a light cluster wired in series in case of a short circuit, and a fan to keep the charger cool!
