I also got confirmed the software update by a volvo mechanic
But is that only for different nr's ? i imagine with the same nr's it wont be needed
But still im wondering how you can readout the nr's already there
yes that is for fitting new injectors , i have a feeling there are many more than 3 grades as before though .
The calibration numbers of the injectors factory fitted are on the factory build sheet which a dealer can read for you .

When at the dealer to switch off the lighting they also performed a cillinderbalancetest on request
Wich was working over there, minimal corrections 0.3mg max (2.3 permitted)
Mechanic told me that the running engine find it as smooth as he normally saw them
Well i guess he never drove an inline 6 ;-)
Im still not completly satisfied ,at least its not the injectors or controlls
So i can check that off, when temps are higher in the spring ill check more things
