Default Another MOT pass.

Just got word that my 1998 940 just passed another MOT. Did the usual preparation for it like brakes and ball joints etc and treated it to new rear springs. All it needed was 4 orange light bulbs as mine were a bit white. Can't think of many cars of this age that would get through without major problems. I wish they still made them. Its a great car and got many years left.

mine flew through its last MOT fine

its a shame this country is such a throw away society, granted most cars of this age are ropey but volvos are built to last and they will do if looked after

My 87 740 passed first time the other day too, not bad for a 25 year old 180K mile car! Even got comments from the garage about how solid it is.

Who needs a new car when an old volvo does the job better!!
