There is no proof that the R manifold flows any better then the ME7 manifold.Not only that but the R manifolds are floored in many ways compared to the ME7 manifolds.One only needs to take a closer look at the R manifold to see how cheaply constructed they are.

Yeah, it's just hearsay, thats why I didn't get an R manifold. Got mine from a 2.0T for 20quid. It will flow more than enough for silly power and is the least of my worries. People put too much thought into the manifold when it's the turbo and fuelling that they need to be worrying about!!
