  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

A daft example but:

Say you worked in the explosives industry...travel to work would be fine as less risks....that is until you get to work and load up with explosives to deliver
(you would be suprised what an insurer would class as explosives!)

Yes indeed, but check against what? Have they asked you what the mileage is each year? Is there a record?

MOT..........

....and if its a new car and you have been on restricted mileage, say 3k per year and your car shows say 20k...??????

Ah, I see, fair enough. Over here, cars registered before 1st Jan 1980 dont have to do a test so I didnt think of that....

I have an s40 on 2k per year mileage. Its just used to stop lorries parking outside the house.I asked my insurers if I went over the 2k in a year what would happen. They said it would be OK. However being the somewhat cynic I can be, I did not believe them. I asked them to put it in writing. They refused.

There ya go...!!!!!!!!!

Oh yes, never trust Insurance companies! If there is a way of not paying out, those guys will find it.
