Default Wing Mirror Black Plastic Trim Cracked !!

Hello Everybody,

My first ever post, so please excuse me if I have written in the wrong section.

I have a V50 2.0D PK55 Reg so 05/06?

The wing mirrors are with indicator, heated etc. These are the sport upgrades I think.

I recently decided to reverse into my driveway gatepost, thus cracking the drivers side wing mirror plastic trim that holds the upper and lower sections and indicator in.

The rest of the unit is absolutely fine.

Have been quoted £100 for used mirror from local breaker
+ fitting & re-spray may cost over £150.

Can the plastic trim be purchased solely or will I have to buy whole unit.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Many Thanks, Steve

Post Wing mirror cover

hi Steve,

I recently cracked the indicator glass on mine which cost £27 to replace & the dealer did say that the black cover would be £90 had it been necessary as they were colour coded from which I assumed you could order them already to the correct colour?

I had broken a lug on mine but the tech at the garage re-fitted it & said it would be fine but a crack is of course another matter.

Hope you get it sorted..

Rob.
