What Dump Valve to Fit? Recirculating or Twin Piston?
hi all, new to the forum, just scored a 1998 S40 T4, was looking at R-Spec dump valves but unsure what the difference is between the R-Spec Recirculating Dump Valve or the R-Spec Twin Piston Dump Valve, the recirculating is more expensive but can someone help me with pro's 'n' con's of each, comes with the blanking plate from rspec.co.uk,

as said the t4 has a re-circ valve fitted as standard, this is what you blank off when fitting the dumpvalve
on mine i fitted the forge motorsport item, very good quality and not ridiculously loud having just looked at the r spec item on their website, doesnt look like it comes with a blanking plate for the volvo re-circ valve, just a pipe block for other vehicles, also you'll require a pipe to t piece it into the intercooler pipework the forge item comes with blanking plate, t piece, vac tubing and even cable ties for plug and play operation, took me about half hour to fit |
