my alarm is going off every few minutes this evening. it did it once at 4am but i didnt realise it was my car the alarm stopped all by its self.

but in the last hour ive been out the the car 6 times. ive tried everything turning the sensor off moving the car opening all the doors. putting the handbrake on. (i usually just put it in park) ive got no alarm message. the red light constantly flashes once the alarm has gone off untill i unlock then lock the car again.

please help before the neighbours kill me.

Yes a "cause of alarm" will be stored , maybe a Movment sensor, bonnet switch etc , or a code for faulty siren communication if it is the siren ..

They are about £160 new (discounted) or £118 for a kit of new siren, front bonnet switch and assorted fastners!

Go figure why the kit is cheaper than the siren on its own....

How do I know..? Just bought one!

Thanks Dave. Thought I would be OK. Its from the 55 plate I broke, and ours is an 05 so should all be good!

Long time no speak. You still got that little MX5?
