When you go to the doctor, do you just say I have a pain, or you are more specific about the problem so he can help you.

You have provided zero info about your car, year, engine etc. You might as well be driving a Lada for all I know.

Try to give as much info and people will be able to help more.

Angry 61 perm camshaft reset button....

Hello Gatos, with this name I guess all you do is play with your pussy(cat) all day. First of all isn't this the V40/S40 section? All years are basucally the same except for diesels but same principal.
As far as I'm concern your smart ass response is probably not tolerated by your wife so don't think for a second I'm putting up with your crap.

If you could spend a fraction of your time giving us you exact model, year and engine code, we would be able to offer more assistance. Instead you choose to ignore a basic question and go on the offensive. Good luck with that attitude.

For your information, I have more than one pussies to play with, so good on me. When one day you find out how much fun pussies can be, come back here and let us known. None of my smart ass responses are tolerated by the wife, but hey, aren't all wives like that? And for the record, she is still hanging around.

It is perfectly fine to have little knowledge about your car, but it is not ok being an ignorant fool who goes on the offensive. You didn't even say if yours is diesel or petrol. There are engines made by Volvo, Renault and Mitsubishi. Here is a list of engines:

B4164S2, B4164S, B4184S, B4184SM,B4184S2, B4184S3, B4204S, B4204S2, B4194T, B4204T, B4194T2, B4204T2, B4204T2 CVVT, B4184SJ, B4204T4, B4184S10, B4204T3, B4204T3 , B4184S9, B4204T5, D4192T3, D4192T, D4192T2, D4192T4

So as you can see there are a few engines for our cars

The man is right.

On a basic level, there are three variants. Phase 1, Phase 1.5 and Phase 2. With differences between both.

Then there's the engine type and size.

If you can help us with those, we should be able to help you.

Gatos has a wealth of knowledge to offer and without thinking about it, you might have missed your chance of an answer.

Many Thanks,

Daniel
