hmm, did you put the original back or sell the car lol
If mine rots through I'm going stainless, but its the cat & downpipe that are probably causing most of the restrictions.

Ferrita catback fitted following the offer of a 25% discount at the T5D5 track day/MRG meet in July this year.
Before: ![]() ![]() After: ![]() ![]() ![]() With the 25% discount offering at the time plus £15 delivery the total was £343, which in my circumstances made it bit of a no brainer decision. More than a standard unit but being stainless it should last for the rest of the vehicle life whilst I own it (and I've no plans to change it unless I win the lottery). Plus it has an unwritten guarantee for replacement or repair at Don's option as long as I keep the car. Plus it looks nicer than the chopped off piece of scaffold pole that the standard one looks like ![]() Went on OK and no nasty codes thrown up or warnings on the dash. Can't really say it's added anything bar a bit more blub, blub to the exhaust note at low revs. The old one already had a hanger repair to the centre section and the rear hanger on the final silencer was on it's way as well (well rusted and crumbling). The centre section also had quite a bit of pitting and corrosion to the pipe. It's been on for about 6 weeks now. Sooting up nicely and getting a bit more rumbly with time (in a nice way, sounds OK from inside) ![]() Vids before and after: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=0qadAJZ3j0I http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=_DmEj2e0JJw
