Default Wobble when slowing down

Hi

When on a dual carriageway doing anything over say 50mph and you want to slow down for a roundabout by taking your foot off the accelerator (and NOT yet touching the brakes), the car literally feels like it is wobbling from side to side a bit. When you do apply the brake the wobble is still there.

This is our first XC90 and we've only had it a few days - is this normal, if not, any ideas what might be causing this?

I do think there is a wheel balance issue at about 70mph which I need to get looked out but I'm not convinced these are connected.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

What year is your XC ?

Areas to check is the condition of the suspension bushings on the front wishbones, the drop links, the rear drop links, the trailing arm bushings and also the engine top mount. Wear or splits in any of these can potentially give rise to your symptoms.
