The "school night" factor has been a problem for me. I have always had the best of intentions of coming along, but it has never worked out to be a good night for me - I've either been working away, or had something very urgent to deal with.

I've just suggested to Simon via PM that we could meet for a pint if I end up popping up to collect a part from him...?

Turns out he's coming down here, but I'm sure we can sort something out for a later date. It strikes me there's a 'critical mass' of people below which the meet will collapse if a couple of people drop out (as they often have to).
