2004 Volvo S60 2.0T SE - Sale / Swap
Looking at selling my 2004 Volvo S60 2.0T SE P2 Automatic, or would consider a swap deal, with cash either way, for an S40 or C30. I've owned the car since April, only done 1,000 miles in my ownership, and it ticks all the boxes for a my needs, the only reason I want to sale or swap is because it is just too big for me, hence why I'd consider swapping for an S40 or C30. I will say that I don't have a huge amount of money to spare, so if a cash your way deal was possible, I couldn't part with a huge amount of cash. Plus the car that I could swap with would have to be an automatic.
With regards the S60 itself, it is in very good condition mechanically and cosmetically. Bodywork is clean with some signs of wear and tear, no rust, wheels are in good condition but if you're being picky could do with a refurb, but they benefit from having almost new tyres on all round. Mechanically it is sound too, it has done nearly 122,000 miles, but the engine still pulls really well and is quiet, automatic gearbox changes are smooth, and the car has no unusual knocks, bangs, leaks or smoke. When I bought the car it needed two new front tyres and tracking, and at the same time I got the garage to check the suspension out and all was found to be fine (report available). The interior is in very good condition, there are a few minor paint marks on the passengers seat, and the centre console is looking a bit tired, but all the seats, carpets and rest of the interior are in a very good condition. Everything electrical works and there are no dash lights illuminated. Recent work includes a full service, oil and oil filter change, air and fuel filter renewal, brake fluid change, new Volvo spark plugs, new power steering fluid reservoir (previous MOT advisory states power steering fluid leak from pump, this wasn't the case, the outlet for the power steering fluid reservoir had cracked and it needed topping up frequently. Since replacing the reservoir it uses no power steering fluid, and does not require topping up anymore), new front brake pads and discs, timing belt, water pump and coolant renewal, drivebelt and tensioner renewal. Other useful info: 121,800 miles (may increase slightly as still use the car) MOT until mid November (should pass next MOT easily in current condition) Partial service history V5C present 3 owners since new Petrol Automatic Full leather interior with heated and electrically adjustable memory front seats Dual zone climate control with cold air con Cruise control Traction control Loads of other extras I won't put down an asking price, I will leave it up to you guys to message me if you are interested and let me know what you would be prepared to offer, as you may want to do a swap. Cheers for looking. P.S. The pic of the rear end makes the car look a mess, this is the remnants of blackberries and has since been cleaned. Last edited by bigshorty48; Aug 22nd, 2022 at 06:18. |
