Thanks for all replies and inspiration. Currently I suspect my cap of the coolant tank can be faulty. I noticed there are remains of dried coolant around the cap and sometimes I can hear soft sounds of gurgling or bubbling from the cap after driving the car.
Is it possible the cap is letting the air in and out constantly and as a result there is not the proper pressure in the cooling system? Can that cause the weak heating? Thank you again! ![]() |

I am very happy to report that my heating problem is solved, it was actually the coolant cap. I had no idea that it has such an important function and that over time the overpressure valve would start leaking permanently and would not maintain overpressure. I found somewhere that the estimated lifespan is around 5 years. My cap was original, it is marked with the month of production 08/2005
