For Sale: Volvo 440 2.0 Si GS with 57k Miles.

Hi guys,

It is with great regret that I'm offering one of the best cars I have owned for sale. My time with this excellent car has been short and sweet, but the space needs cleared on the driveway for a sick Renault Vel Satis.

I bought the car as being one elderly owner from new, garaged all it's life, just to experience a 440 really. Having only owned 940s and 740s up to this point, it was nice to experience a Volvo that can outrun a surprising amount of cars - it feels faster than my 2.0 VVT Renault Megane!

The car feels as if it has just driven out of the factory, and the interior is the same. There are two cosmetic issues that would need sorted to bring the car back to "as new" condition - the passenger wing mirror has lost it's cover, and the front bumber has been drilled into place after a minor shunt, I imagine. Small chip in the windscreen which didn't effect the MOT at all.

You guys are the experts, so you probably know about it's spec:
Air Conditioning
Half leather seats
Remote Central Locking (I have two keys and two remotes)
Daytime Running lights (the wipers work!)
Original Volvo Cassette player (Electric aeriel was lost in an automatic car wash)
Power Steering
Alloy wheels (all with fantastic tyres)

I have MOTs dating back to 2006 to verify the mileage to a certain extent.

The car just passed it's MOT here in Northern Ireland, where our system is government run and much more strict! Passed first time, with no advisories, and the tester even commented on what a neat car it is underneath! MOT expires 3rd April 2012. Tax just expired at the end of March.

Given the mileage, and condition, I would love to put it in a garage and keep it as a sort of modern classic, but I just don't have the means of doing it.

The car is located in Belfast, Northern Ireland, no more than 15 mins from the docks and both airports. I have no doubt that you would thoroughly enjoy a drive back to England - I'd be happy to drive it to Sweden!

Delivery may be possible, as I may be travelling over to Birmingham in the next few weeks.
