'88740GL Senior Member Last Online: Jun 2nd, 2013 22:00 Join Date: Jun 2010 Location: salford	740 Fuel tank breather system After a run, for a few hours after parking up, i get an odor/whiff of petrol most noticably around the rear wheel arches, mainly from the side with the fuel filler door, i know the tank is situated on that side, but for fear of my petrol being able to evaporate off into the free air, (4 star isnt as cheap as it was)... is there a ventilation system on these cars or is it a case of a vapor release pipe venting fumes and tank pressure off to the atmosphere?
