Found out today that my supposed pick up for this Sat is very unlikely to happen now as they have no idea where my car is! Probably fallen off the slow boat from China that it's f**ing sailing on… Very disappointed with Volvo – not my dealer as he is also P***ed off, with their complete inability to manage car shipment logistics. Now it will have to sit in the dealer compound for 2 weeks getting dented and scratched before I can pick it up following my holiday return. There may be a good deal to be had on this car if I end up having to reject it due to damage incurred over the next two weeks with it sitting in their yard. I used to work in the trade and know that a brand new car left too long in a dealer compound will inevitably end up with damage. Next time I’m afraid it’s back to BMW where customer expectations actually mean something…
