darowa330 New Member Last Online: May 1st, 2024 21:42 Join Date: Jul 2023 Location: stockport	timing belt query I am trying to replace the timng belt on my 1982 244 2.1 auto. THE NEW Belt, a gates 5020, seems too small and i cant get it over the tensioner even though its retracted and held in place with a pin. Can belts shrink if old and stored a long time? Should i try a genuine volvo belt. ? Advice most welcome
