Any thoughts or suggestions would be much appreciated; we test drove a lovely manual version today and we have definitely decided on this model. I’m just concerned about the automatic as one of the main reasons for going with Volvo is long term reliability.
Many thanks!

A 2016-2019 2.0L D2 does not have powershift automatic transmission. The older D2 cars with the Ford/PSA 1.6 D2 have powershift but the later D2 cars from 2016 model year onwards have a Volvo 2.0L engine and a traditional Aisin torque converter automatic transmission which Volvo use in many different models.
If it were me I would be looking at a car from 2017 model year onwards as they will have the facelift front end and Thors hammer LED headlights.
