Default MAP sensor replacement 06 v70 d5 185bhp

Good day to all.

I'm troubleshooting a "engine system service required" demon which won't go away. Have come across a few threads that mention swapping out the MAP sensor. Fortunately I have an xc70 in the barn that I can take parts from.

My question. The MAP sensor is on the intercooler, in a very awkward place. There is a torx screw on it, but it's obstructed by the headlight housing. Has anyone replaced the MAP without removing the intercooler? Is it possible to move in intercooler without total disassembly/removal?

Any and all help much appreciated.

with thanks
