  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

It appears so! These engines are capable of mega miles, with maintenance of course.

I know that your car has really low miles, but do you know if any of the belts have been replaced (Timing belt, auxiliary belt, auxiliary belt tensioner & a/c belt?). As your car is over 10 years old, regardless of the miles, the belts & tensioner should be replaced because they're technically due by age, as opposed to mileage (10 years/108k, whichever comes first).

I wouldn't expect much wear on a car with 9,500 miles, but rubber perishes over time. Snapped belts can cause serious engine damage, so its something to consider taking into account that the car is 12 years old.

If they've been replaced, then that's a bonus!
