Default "Mystery" MOST Component

MY 2007 XC90

Does anyone know what the function of this component is, found in the rear cargo area near the REM?

It appears to be a just loop of fibre optic cable, protected by enclosing it within a fibrous matting pouch.

My supposition is that it is exactly that, a terminator for the MOST network. If that is so, is it the point of connection for a sub-woofer module? ie. just unplug the terminating loop and plug-in the Subwoofer input?

TIA
