Hi everyone.
Well , this is my V70 T5 “ShedBob” and I am with heavy heart putting him up for sale . 2 reasons for selling but the main 1 is I was in hospital last week due to chronic leg pain and been diagnosed with damaged cartilage in 1 of my legs and it really hurts getting in and out and driving Shedbob. As this is my daily and this is going to take a long time to hopefully heal then it has to go. The other reason is I need something bigger that can take what my Caddy can if needs be.

Story so far :
I bought this 200 X reg Volvo V70 T5 a few months ago as a stop-gap and back-up when my VW Caddy was off the road and to take the strain off it as a daily. It’s an Auto, has 149k miles , black half leather interior, runs perfectly , no faults, and hasn’t wanted for anything. No bodywork rust and in good condition especially for the age! It feels as tight as a drum, no ( bad ) noises or anything , just good ones!
Work done includes New Custom Cat Back Stainless Steel Exhaust by Stainless Creations in Falkirk, K+N 57i Induction Kit ( have original airbox as well ) , New UniRoyal Rainsport 3 tyres, recent oil and filter change, cabin filter change, ABS sensors and Reluctor rings + bearing, plus the usual new wipers and decent headlight bulbs...all in all spent just over £1000 on it and its just passed its MOT last week so just over 12 months ticket on it .
Being 100% honest the wheels could do with a refurb, and only nit-picking faults are the rear-view auto dimming mirror doesn’t auto dim , the skoosh for the rear wiper doesn’t work, and occasionally the well known “ Alarm Service “ that , if you know these cars , haunts every one of these cars. There are no CEL or Fault Codes or anything.
It’s a great car , sounds and goes great , but the leg injury has cemented my decision to sell.
I am asking for £1300 fixed price which I think is fair as it doesn’t need anything and has new 12 months MoT.
I have the V5 in my name and am in south side of Glasgow .
Any questions feel free to ask.
Cheers,
Stephen
