Quality assurance
Whoever is lucky enough to get this car doesn't have to worry about its provenance - my father bought it brand new in June 1986 on my mother's birthday, when he retired at 65 and kept it for nearly 20 years until he couldn't drive any more, you'll only find two names on the V5 history, his and mine. If the buyer is going to thrash it, don't tell me, I don't want to know - it's only ever received TLC and it would be nice to think it will continue to get the same. If they haven't siphoned the petrol out, then I've no reason to believe that it won't start and drive straight away. I am confident that whoever gets it will be well pleased with it.
