Unhappy camshaft problem on 855T5 and v70t5R....

Hi,

after a 18mounth pause... i started back to rebuild my '93 855T5 i've stopped because when i've tightened the top cover, i wasn't able to turn the 2 camshaft... so i leaved her whith the heart open.....

WELL

Last week i fond a '97 v70 T5-R and begun to rebuild the engine...

no problem until i try to refit the top cover...

and now i have the same problem !!!

precisely, when i say : " i can't even turn the camshaft" i mean :

- I removed the 20 hydraulic lifter to let the camshaft turn freely...
- I slide the 2 seals on every shaft out of the engine...
- I lubricate everywhere the camshaft touches aluminium...
- I put the 2 shafts in their own places...
- I set the top engin cover in place...
- I put every bolt in every hole...
- I start tightening bolts, kindly, by hand...

AND THEN THE 2 CAMSHAFTS are BLOCKED !!!!!

even if i continue tightening ton the required torque....

the only way to turn it is to use a oil filter wrench around the pulley.........

I'm soooooooooo disapointed....

I just called my dealer this morning, then he sent me his "official volvo process"... but he told me they never had problem about this.......

Did somebody had this problem ? and how to fix it ....

thanks a lot !!!
