maybe do your plugs, clean dizzy cap and rotor arm as well.
the engine drives the gearbox, if the engine is not smooth, the gearbox will take the knock on effect of not changing gear when it should thus tripping the limp home mode setting. its not a theory...ive learned this also to get your car right, change turbo hoses replace with silicone ones, 4mm. and if the pcv box and system hasnt been done, a vacuum pipe which rund under the manifold fro the pvc box breaks with heat causing leak into manifold this making engine run ruff. this can also cause the limp home mode on the gearbox. you need to get to the root cause, at the moment you are just grasping at straws chaing the ecu, and guesswork. |
