Just seen on Volvo 140 International Facebook a post that looks like a company called SEK customs will be producing the black rear window louvres. Unfortunately I can't seem to copy/paste the link??? Hi Steve, this was a popular accessory on 144s and 244s in period in Sweden. I once drove a car so equipped over there and they do tend to restrict rearward visibility somewhat. So much so, that I can well understand why many Swedes quickly ditched them! There must be a great many still lying discarded in the back of garages there to this day.
If they are now considered desirable over here maybe there is an opportunity there for someone! Regards, John.
