New to be Volvo S60 owner
Hi
Just a quick hello and also a quick question from a soon to be Volvo owner! Not had a Volvo before and hopefully will be a better experience than the discovery 3 nightmare I’m coming from!! I should be picking up my new car later this week it’s a 14 plate s60 d4 se lux nav that looks near on immaculate apart from some damage/marks on some of the buttons on centre console, I can live with them and it’s not as noticeable in “real life” and looks worse in pics so my question is (well question’s) - can these be replaced? As in do they pop off and put new ones on from say a scrap yard or some kind of over sticker or has the whole unit got to be replaced? And if so will it need to be programmed to my car even if I find one with the same buttons as mine? Thanks In advance Lee |

Hiya!
I don't have an answer for you but just wanted to say hey and also say that I've literally just bought (owned it for a week), the exact same spec S60 as you, but mine is a 15 plate. Still learning about it all, and I'm new to Volvo's too. |

I believe they need coding in if you replace the whole unit. I enquired with a dealer when I wanted the chrome rings around the heater controls.
You may be able to buy once and strip it down to just replace the buttons. Just be aware that as yours is a 2014 car it has the later ones with the "Globe" button that wasn't on the earlier models

PS having owned 2 x Land Rovers (a Discovery2 and Freelander1) plus 4 x Volvo (2 x S60, 1 x C70 and 1 x V40CC) I'd say it should be a massive difference!!
