As-new rear shocks
I have for sale a pair of new OEM Boge oil shocks for the rear of a 240. They were fitted to my car for about a year, but it only moved about 2 miles with them fitted prior to being scrapped. They're in as-new condition.
£25 posted? cheers James

Any reason these wouldn't fit an '89 240 GL estate?

As far as I'm aware, there isn't a distinction made between shocks for saloons and estates. Springs, yes, but not shocks.
LFL - Yes, they should fit fine. cheers James
