460 2.0i
Hi, I have recently bought a 460 cd but am having problems getting a few engine parts. I need a rear engine mount and am wondering if this Renault engine is used in anything else & is the 1.8 just a smaller version of it? Thanks.

It depends if yours is the multipoint or single point injection unit. As far as I can tell, the single point injections and turbos are based off the same block design, but internals are different for forged and size etc depending on variant.
The multipoint units tend to be double overhead cams and the singletons are single overhead cams. I could be wrong, but this is what I've found out so far

460 cd
Thanks for the info. It is the single cam & I have found out that it is also used in the first series Renault Laguna & the basis for the Clio Williams engine. It's a challenge finding the bits but it makes life interesting !

Yes, our engines are the f3p engines from Renault, it's stamped on the block, just behind the right hand wheel at the back of the engine.
The Renault f7p engine is what the Renault Williams have and they are multipoint.
