Looks tidy enough, 230000 mile is just run in lol, as long as it has good service history it would be worth a punt.

230k is the kind of mileage you avoid unless it's 200 quid. It's beyond run in, it's gonna be a worn and tired car.

My 1.9 d is on 210000 now and doesn't feel "worn" High mileage is nothing these days, especially if its been a motorway car.

I'm sure yours is a gem...but if your buying one with 230k off ebay...come on, it's a risk.

I don't mind a diesel with that mileage, but a petrol? No...... Maybe it has only been motorway miles, but still its 230k and its not worth that asking price. Plenty of other v40's around for that money with less mileage too.......
