Single axle motor mover sought. ( WTB )

Over the past week or so I have been weighing up the fitting of a new motor mover to my caravan and had just about decided what to buy.
Was thinking possibly this next 7 - 14 days I'd be going to dealers to look.

Then it struck me that it might be worth asking here first if anyone not too far away from me is selling one.
Pref a longstanding forum member.
I'd want to see it.

It would need to be fully working and in reasonable condition with fittings for Al-ko chassis.
Not the gritted roller type.
My van has MTPLM of only 1215KG so any should do that.
Not the jockey wheel driven type.

Please PM me with details if you have a suitable mover you'd like to sell and we could possibly go forward from there.

Not selling mine but just to say gritted rollers are not the end of the world, when the grit broke off mine I contacted Power wheel the maker and despite them being 11 years old they were able to supply new rollers which are of milled surface not gritted and come with new bearings. £60 for the pair, a lot cheaper than £400 for new mover.

Thanks Paul that's very handy to know if buying a S/H Powrwheel mover.

I've had no offers of S/H movers as of yet so likely to buy new.

£400 for a new mover .... I wish ( unless you know different ???? ).

I'm likely to be paying ~ £500 with self fitting for a new mover later this week and that's a budget model though not the cheapest available.

Going to be traveling to Bolsover Caravans to look at one in the flesh on Thursday all being well.

Was meant to be going last Thurs but circumstances arose.

Sorry the £400 was from an add in the camping and caravan club mag but on checking it was £499, marketing ploy and I fell into the trap.

I have found power wheel very helpful.
Half way to Scotland I found I had lost my remote control ( for lost read left on the bumper and drove off) unfortunately as mine was a superseded model they no longer had spares, they sent a new controller and 2 remotes ( not getting caught again) overnight to my daughters house in Scotland where I picked it up and fitted it, not a cheap exercise by any means but got me out of a hole.
The new controller and old wheel units refurbished so am hopefullyright for a few years.

Why don't you try a dealer for a S/H one?
Some dealers remove them from there trade ins then sale new ones to the new purchaser.But I personally would only buy a Powertouch or Reich motor movers.

There is a caravan dealer not that far away from me who do that but expect ~ £500 for them to fit the S/H unit to your van.

I'd rather spend the £500 on a new unit and fit it myself.
