What are the main XC90 faults ?
After following the comments on this site about the various faults with the new XC90 ,it would be interesting to compile a list of the faults . This because when you report a fault to Volvo it is the original sketch line of " never seen that before and nobody has complained earlier " and these faults then seem to be disregarded by Volvo UK customer service.
Does any know how to start a poll on this site ? Thanks ! MY 16 XC90 D5 P* Inscription & MY15 S60 D4 P* SE Lux Geartronic |

I have had the same experience with my Volvo dealer. Purchased new XC90 D5 AWD Momentum in October and while I love a lot of features and the general driving experience, I have a list of problems that have not been rectified and have met with similar responses. The main issue is water collecting underneath the rear door sills and splashing out onto your feet as you open the door. Response is always - Volvo won't allow us to make modifications so it can't be fixed.
Also Sat Nav screen doesn't display road names properly - they randomly appear and disappear - mostly they are blank. Radio stations and temperature gauge re-set themselves randomly. I am also repeatedly told that the software is so advanced and complex that Volvo staff themselves are learning on the job. I am getting so fed up with these and other problems that I'm seriously considering changing the vehicle. Would welcome any advice/support/comments from others in similar situations. Feel free to email me also. |

To Carl re. Your PM - I can't respond as Submission message says I need 30 posts before I can send a PM.
I think we are dealing with similar issues at the same place. It would be helpful to have a conversation maybe? |
