Wanted: 2010+ C70 T5
Hello,
As the title says, I'm looking to buy a facelift C70 T5. I currently own a 2006 C70 which is going to the scrapyard soon due to it having too many problems to fix. When the car does work it's an absolute joy, so I'm looking to buy a newer one! Unfortunately it seems like there aren't any for sale at the moment. If you're looking to sell yours, please send me a message. I prefer a car with the following: Automatic, 150k miles or less, Interesting color / (half) light interior, Dynaudio system. Please note that these are just slight preferences, I don't think I can be too picky with the current amount of cars for sale I'm located in Hampshire but I'm willing to travel for a nice example, I've got plenty of time due to being on furlough. Thanks in advance, Rik |

I almost bought the very car you're looking for (SE Lux too) until, on the day I'd arranged to see it, I checked the annual tax.....£550 I think it was !
For a second car thats unlikely to cover £3-4000 miles a year I said NO on principle. Is your 2006 in the regular tax band ?

The boot seal has got some damage to it, so I wouldn't say it's in good condition per se, but it's not the area where water leaks into on my car. I don't think this is the most common reason for water getting into the boot, have you checked the drain pipe? Kind regards, Rik |
