Do I have a dampened propshaft? Pics inside.
It looks (well sounds) like I have the exact problem as described here:
http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=214936 This is my propshaft where it connects to the haldex unit at the back of the car. Question for those in the know - is this a dampened unit, or a non-dampened. Thanks...

I was leaning that way too, but trying to find comparison pics on the internet is like pulling teeth.

Nope,
They have a big rubber damper round the rust bit, You have to mod the fuel take heat shield sometimes after fitting them as they are that big they almost touch

Damper is part number 31259423
You will need a litre of AOC oil aswell as you loose most of it changing it
