Default 163 BHP Chip tuning

Hi again

Does anyone recomend an OBD port tuning like Bluefin or MAptun for my 163 bhp 2011 XC60?

Why not just buy a D5 which has 215bhp? Much better than mucking about with dubious software - and it would be cheaper to insure than one that has been chipped

Plus it would be more powerful than the 163 chipping

There's nothing like the puzzled look on someone's face when they think they should sail past a "lesser" car and find they can't do anything with it.

There is a remap for the D3 which gives 210PS and 435Nm which is about the same torque increase over and above a standard D5 which the D5 has over a standard D3. No dodgy software as only the parameters have been changed not the software itself and the limiter has been moved (not removed) to give a higher top speed than a D5 (useful on an autobahn but of little merit in the UK).

Granted there's only one turbo vs two but it doesn't half confuse someone why the "lesser" car is moving so swiftly.

Some people used to stick D5 badges on old 5 cylinder R models to bend other marque drivers out of shape.

Been doing some research on this and mine is a D3 2.4 litre twin turbo.

I can get around 245 bhp with this model.

If someone could supply a list of performance remaps via the OBD port that would be great.

Thanks

Tim
