Wide Steel Wheels 5.5j
hi ya folks
im on the hunt for some wide steel wheels 5.5j for my 123GT to complete the look i have alloy wheels (new torq thrusts ) but for now till i restore the car i want some of these to run on and use later for winter price is off the scale i will pay what i have to i must have a set come wind and shine as they belong on the car so if anyone has some they want to sell i have two atm not perfect tho push come to shuve if anyone has just two wheels that would be a use and make a set that way . or i would idealy like to buy a complete set of four dont care about price i will pay what i have to depending on condition thats the only factor which will alater the price in my mind. but there is upto £1000 sat here for a set ready when someone wishes to part with a set no time wasters need post im not looking to wait hence my budget **** no iffy wheels i want perfection geniune would suit me better **** but anything considered at this stage kind regards robert

do I have to be the first to point out that Volvo never made 5.5J wheels for that fitment?
I know there were some early aftermarket copy wheels and assume that is the ones you are looking for rather than the high quality new one from China! |

i know they was a aftermarket wheel in 5.5j but dad has some on his GT with a saftey bead and stamped up VOLVO and look fantastic but The original wheel centres were used with new 6" wide rims my GT was sold with them i have found out so i must get them back on the car to have the original spec it left the dealership with i have the invoice that documents it !!!!
i rather not touch the repro ones for insurance reasons they wont insure you on china parts without a high premium of course a set would do till i drop onto a real set of volvo stamped ones but the money would reflect it as there fakes but give the look im after for now regards robert

I think the nearest to genuine or period 5.5 wheels are KPZ wheels.

by the way the new rims are awefull and the manufactor is already closed again.... only a few couple of these "things" are left, i don´t want to call it rims. omg ist 1538 Lemmerz ...sorry for that... By the way ....Volvo 613014 should be an orginal Volvo rim Last edited by BilBrud; Dec 19th, 2013 at 08:06. |
