Default what sort of tyres for titans to go on an 850

hi guys, i recently picked up a set of genuine titans, without tyres;
I plan to put them on my daily driver 850 t5 auto; which will be a mix of mainly sort of typical daily driving, but i'd still like a slightly more sporty tyre, for if i wanted an odd track day, and just to have the nice sporty feel on the country lanes.

what did the original Rs? and T5-Rs,. come with, and thoughts on those, along with what others have gone with, I care more about combined performance rather than road noise. but it does need to be bearable and nothing too crazy; i am driving on british roads; afterall

thanks!

Maybe Bob can chime in and advise on what tyre he has, or is going to fit to his new Titan's... see his thread here: https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=335786

Been thinking about what to get for the new wheels. The 850 car originally came with Pirelli P Zero but I have been using Continental Premium Contacts as they gave better milage. But since the T5 is now in semi retirement, thanks to ULEZ, I don't expect to do as much milage. The V70 will be the daily car now, also on Conti PremiumContact 7's.

So I might fit the P Zero's.

I'd also recommend an XL tyre to protect the rims from potential damages and choose something with an A to C rating for both grip and fuel efficiency.

I see the document states P6000. Seems some had those and some the Zero's

Not generally known, but the standard 850 T5 16" Columba wheel came in right and left handed fittings.

If you are going from 16" wheels to 17" wheels you might as well fit the larger front brake discs same time. They do give better braking. You just need the bracket to extend the caliper.
