Bought a Breaker...
Hi you lot, I collected this last week:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1606414510...84.m1423.l2649 I paid more for it than the auction finished at, but not too much more. The plan is to cash in the tax and break it for the many spares I need to take to 'Old Grey' in Thailand. It's a shame to break it in a way, it has done nothing since it's MOT and drives really well, but the parts are worth so much more over there than the car is worth here. Anyone need any bits? There'll be plenty left over! I drove to Manchester in the BX14, collected an A-frame on the way and dragged the Citroen home as the hurricane approached in the darkness... in at the deep end as far as A-framing is concerned! Any way, back to 'Red'. 2.5 20v, auto, cream leather, tow bar etc... Need anything? Just reply on here, I'll see if I can help. I'm in the Yorkshire Dales, by the way.

What is your email address please? I don't think you will be able to reply to PMs being a 'new member'. I could do with the boot struts if you don't need them

Hi Steve, the changer is untested as yet, I'll try to remember to do it tomorrow and get back to you. The radio sounds ace though. Have a pic to be going on with...
The alloys are a bit grubby and are starting to scab a bit in places, none of the tyres are very clever, but all legal, may have slow leaks around the rims (from scabbiness) because some were a bit soft when I collected the car. Also some of the badges from the centre caps are loose in the boot. I'm in no hurry to be rid of them first job because I have no other wheels to keep it mobile. I'll keep you posted. Typical example: Quote:
The boot struts are not on my list to take to Th, but the boot action is much better on 'Red' than 'Old Grey', so I'd better keep them - sorry.
